our affiliation with the H.S. Dent Foundation

We have officially joined the Dent Adviser’s Network, an alliance of financial professionals from all over the country, all with the common goal of providing their clients great advice based on economic and demographic research conducted by Harry Dent, and his very talented staff.  As part of this group, we now have access to their library of extensive research, regular updates and unlimited access to the staff themselves.  The world is changing, as it changes many aspects of our lives will be affected.  Some of these changes are easily anticipated, as the larger, longer-term trends have already been identified.  Some examples from the Dent Foundation’s research that we have already been referencing are the coming pension crisis, the potential domestic equity boom and bust coinciding with the end of the decade, and the potential collapse of overheated housing markets in certain areas of the country.  The potential impact of any of these trends could be enormous, which is why Bill and I are fully committed to gathering data, evaluating the possible risks and opportunities and applying actionable strategies.   We believe the days of using the traditional methods of investing are over, basic strategies such as “buy and hold” and “asset allocation”, are outdated and no longer effective.   The H.S. Dent foundation provides us with research that, quite frankly, we could never accomplish on our own.  Access to the data will allow us to gain a competitive advantage over the “traditional” investment approach.  We are excited to bring to you this world-class organization, and the fruits of their labor.
