Finance 101 for Broke College Students | Sawchuk Wealth Events

Sep 16, 2021 | Blog, Blogs, Company News

With class officially back in session, Sawchuk Wealth recently hosted an in-person event for young, future investors: Finance 101 for Broke College Students!  This event was hosted by Sawchuk Wealth Private Wealth Management Coordinator Dennis Pozios and was available to  anyone college-aged who was looking for advice on how to get their financial life started on the right foot.

During the event, Pozios covered all the big topics – investing, budgeting, debt (yes, especially student loans!), credit scores, and goal setting – with a bonus appearance from Sawchuk Wealth Founder and Chairman Terry Sawchuk to talk about cryptocurrencies. This one-hour workshop answered common questions plaguing college students and gave the foundations young adults need to start building a strong and stable financial future.
